Education

Dr. Cynthia G. Cantu graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1992. She then earned a Masters Degree in Cellular Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1994. She attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School and obtained her MD in 1998.

Upon graduation, Dr. Cantu began her residency training in Family Practice at the UTMB family practice residency in Conroe, Texas. She completed her residency in 2002.

History

Dr. Cantu has been in private practice in Laredo since 2004. In addition, she has received training in hyperbaric medicine and wound care. A native of Laredo, she carries on a proud tradition of taking care of patients in this community.
